Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere helps an expelled Pregnant OPM Overseas University Scholarship Student Smile again

A “Huge” 2nd Chance Opportunity for a Pregnant OPM Overseas University Scholarship Student.

The Omega Power Ministry and its founder, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere had recently awarded scholarships to some 140 students who traveled and started schooling overseas, to the excitement of families, friends, loved ones and the African people in general.

That excitement and jubilant mood was however, shortlived for one of the Nigerian beneficiaries, Onome, who was expelled from the school in Turkey on January 24 2023 shortly after traveling overseas and discovering she was pregnant. It is being reported that Onome had fallen sick a few days after traveling overseas on the OPM scholarship program and tests run subsequently revealed that she was pregnant.

In keeping with the school’s high moral standards and reputation, Onome who was expelled and sent back to Nigeria, on return, was interviewed by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere. She revealed to him the identity of the young man responsible for her pregnancy. The young man was interviewed and he revealed they had dated for many years and would love to marry her but doesn’t the financial means to carry that out.

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere gave him some money and asked that he pays her bride price within 7 days. The bride price was paid on February 3rd and a ‘blessing of marriage’ Ceremony was ultimately done on the 6th of February, 2023 since they couldn’t have a white wedding ceremony because of her pregnancy,

It is reported that Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere had since pleaded on her behalf and sent the Blessing Of Marriage Ceremony pictures to the school whose authorities have agreed to reinstate her. She’s expected to join them back next Tuesday.

As always, many are Marvelled at the benevolence and goodwill gesture of the Apostle Chinyere, who by the way isn’t a stranger to such philanthropic moves. Recently, he had helped move the family of Deborah Samuel from Sokoto to Port Harcourt, gifting them a house and money to set up a business. Deborah Samuel, a former student of the Shehu Shagari College of Education, Sokoto was killed and burnt by an Islamic militant mob over an alleged blasphemy about a post they said she made on social media about the Prophet Mohammed (SAW). That killing drew nationwide outcry and pity for her and her poor Christian family that lived in a predominantly Muslim population of Sokoto.

Nollywood actor, Aguda, was homeless and depressed for a few years until the Apostle came to his rescue a few months back as well. He was gifted a home, a car, some proposed movie deals and asked to get a woman of his choice for marriage.

People tried to figure out exactly why, having already given her an overseas scholarship, Apostle Chinyere still went the extra mile to help Onome get back into school after her expulsion. Reports say the Apostle considered the fact that Onome’s father died many years ago and she had no help to go to the university after finishing secondary school some eight (8) years ago. Leaving Onome behind would have meant making her an additional burden to her unemployed widowed mother and without any other foreseeable chance of going to the university.

Quite a philanthropic gesture by Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere. Congratulations and Goodluck to Onome and her family.
