Super Eagles to play two friendly matches in France this year

Nigeria’s national team will play two friendly games in September this year, depending on the situation with the COVID-19 outbreak.

This was revealed by Amaju Pinnick, the President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), during an Instagram Live session.

“We have two international friendly games billed for Paris in September.

“When we conclude the arrangements, which are at 70 per cent now, we will make it public,” Pinnick said.

He further stated that the NFF is trying to set up friendly matches for the Super Eagles against one African country and another team from South America in the first international window post-COVID19.

Pinnick also said there are plans to bail out football clubs and the local leagues in the aftermath of the pandemic.
