Police arrests man for allegedly beheading his brother over cow in Jigawa

The Jigawa State Police Command has arrested a 22-year-old Gambo Sa’idu of Badakoshi village in Gwaram Local Government Area of the state, for cutting allegedly beheading his brother over a cow.

The command Public Relations Officer, SP Audu Jinjiri, who confirmed the incident to WE4WEREPORTS in Dutse, said one Gambo Sa’idu used cutlers to kill his elder brother, Haladu Sa’idu, 40.

He explained that Gwaram Local Government police station received the report around 2pm of Wednesday and succeeded in arresting the suspect at the scene where he committed the crime.

“The suspect is currently at Gwaram Police station for investigation before he would be taken to the headquarters for further investigation,” he stated.

He further revealed that the case would be transferred to the department of state criminal investigation CID and will be charged to court after Investigation.

Findings by WE4WEREPORTS revealed that the deceased and the suspect are both of the same father Malam Sa’idu and have stopped talking to each other for a long time.

The accused person was also suspected of using hard drugs before he carried out his mission.
