Obi takes Atiku’s campaign to Anambra markets

The running mate of the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Thursday took the party’s campaign to major markets in Anambra State.

The markets visited included Building Material Market at Ogidi, New Tyre Market at Ogidi, Afor Igwe, Umudioka, Oye Olisa, Ogbunike, and New Parts, Nkpor, among others.

Obi told the traders that the February 16 election would be about saving the country from total collapse.

Obi said, “Atiku, known for his wealth-creation in his private life, will replicate the same if voted in.

“On power infrastructure, which is a hindrance to the survival of small and medium enterprises, I assure you that Atiku’s economic blueprint contains articulated steps to be taken for the revamping of the power sector in the country.”

A former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, and a governorship aspirant in the 2017 election in the state, Dr Alex Obiogbolu, were among those who accompanied Obi to the markets.
