The Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu has reacted to reports over alleged manipulation of governorship results in Rivers and Imo states

INEC on Sunday suspended all electoral processes in Rivers state until further notice.

In a statement on Sunday, INEC explained that they took the decision due to widespread violence in the state, during the March 9 governorship and State Assembly polls.

The commission also claimed some of its staff were held hostage and materials including results sheets were destroyed.

INEC has established a fact-finding committee, to assess the situation and report back within 48 hours.

Reacting, Kanu on his Twitter page warned INEC over altercation of results from Rivers and Imo states.

“With disturbing reports from Rivers, Imo & Abia governorship elections, we warn INEC that doctored results imposed against the will of the people will be resisted.

“Any government formed on the basis of a fraudulent result will bring anarchy. Cancellation is the only solution,” he tweeted.
