The PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Peter Obi & The Atiku/Obi team kick off a short U.S tour in New Jersey on Monday, January 14, 2019 at a Townhall Meeting hosted by “The friends of Peter Obi”. The kickoff time is 6 pm and the venue is The Robert Treat Hotel, 50 park place, Newark, New Jersey. 07102. USA. He is expected to further articulate some of the Atiku/Obi campaign positions on issues affecting Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.
Nigerians in the diaspora are expected to turn out in large numbers as the diaspora support for the Atiku/Obi campaign remains on a steady rise.
Stops in Texas, California and Nevada are also planned.
The “Friends of Peter Obi” town hall meeting is being coordinated by Balogun Chike-Obi, Georges Chiedu Ekwensi, Mike Okaka and other notable individuals.
