President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief Of Staff, Abba Kyari is dead from a COVID-19, as announced this evening by Femi Adesina, president Buhari’s media aide.
It was announced a few weeks back that Kyari , 80, was thought to have contracted the virus on a visit to Germany.
He was rumored to have tried seeking medical attention abroad in Europe the way he and others in the administration had always done but was only able to get access to Cuba where he was rumored to have died. Sometime last week, it was announced that he had moved form Abuja to Lagos for further treatment and several news outlets quoted his family as stating that they were unaware of his whereabouts, sparling rumours of his demise and a cover-up by the government on not announcing his death.
