Nigerian politics and political operatives are once again on high alert as the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has said he would be making a “landmark broadcast” on The 20th of February 2019 @ 8 PM Nigerian Time, 2. P.M E.T (USA) via Radio Biafra. With the 11th hour INEC rescheduling of the Nigerian presidential and National Assembly elections from the 16th of February 2019 to the 23rd of February 2019 (Gubernatorial from the 2nd to the 9th of March 2019), the polics in Nigeria has been chaotic amid various uncertainties.
He made the announcement via his Twitter handle on Feb 19, 2019. The tweet reads,
On Wednesday, February 20, 2019, I will make a landmark broadcast on Radio Biafra.
Time is at 8 PM Biafraland time and 7 PM UK time.

The media world and Most Nigerians are highly attentive as to what the contents of the broadcast would be, especially given the fact that barely 5 days ago, to the shock of many around rhe World, Kanu called off a long instituted Elections Boycott that he and IPOB had placed on the 2019 Nigerian elections. A lot of people believed Atiku and Obi would win by a wider margin without the boycott being in place, especially given the Popularity enjoyed in the Eastern part of Nigeria by Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra state. A few ago as well, right after the INEC rescheduling of the 2019 Nigerian elections, in what seemed like a jab at the Nigerian politicians, he also tweeted this,

The two major political parties, PDP and APC have been trading accusatory jabs and punches at each other, claiming Nnamdi Kanu, his followers, and their actions or inactions are suggestive of support for one party over the other. A lot of the major political operatives are rumored to be pitching for the support of Nnamdi and his IPOB followers but our sources close to him believe he would much rather remain apolitical and continue to work instead towards the eventual Restoration of Biafra.
