
A Bauchi-based group, ‘Yan Babeli’ has allegedly killed six herders, with seven others declared missing in Mongi and Langai communities of Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Malam Nura Abdullahi, the State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), made the allegation on Monday.
According to him, the group stormed the communities on 22nd July, under the guise of searching for criminals, apprehended some Fulani and took them to the bush where they were killed.
He explained that six of the corpses were recovered of the 13 arrested, saying that the remaining ones were nowhere to be found
