Police recover seven stolen vehicles in Kano

The Kano State Police Command has recovered seven stolen vehicles and arrested several suspects in a series of successful operations.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the command spokesman, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, and issued to newsmen.

He said the operations were aimed at combating vehicle theft and related crimes, including armed robbery, in the state.

According to the statement: “The Command’s Special Intervention Squad on the direction of the Command CP, worked tirelessly to track down stolen vehicles and apprehend suspects.

“Notable recoveries include a Toyota RAV4, Peugeot 406, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Yaris, a truck, a white Toyota Matrix, and a white Forland truck.”

He said the command has also succeeded in arresting several suspects, including those involved in armed robbery.

He added that the suspects are currently assisting with investigations and will be brought to justice.
