Nigerian govt gets 50 additional CNG buses for cheaper transportation

The Federal Government has received 50 additional Compressed Natural Gas buses for cheaper transportation.

The Chairman of Nordmotion, Ajayi Oluwatobi, disclosed this in a statement on his X account.

The move is part of the federal government’s Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative to deploy cheaper and safer transportation services for Nigerians.

“We are proud to announce the successful delivery of 50 units of our fully CNG-powered buses to the Federal Government of Nigeria,” Oluwatobi wrote on X.

The Indigenous automobile firm had earlier delivered 50 CNG-powered buses to the federal government.

Recall that in 2023 President Bola Ahmed Tinubu established PCNGI to cushion the impact of fuel subsidy removal on Nigerians.
