Bandits: Katsina shuts down all schools over insecurity

The Katsina State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has ordered the immediate closure of all government schools across the state for security reasons.

The ministry called on parents, teachers, and the general public to obey this directive at once as officials continue to monitor the security situation to protect students and staff.

The government explained that closing the schools became necessary to avoid any threat to lives.

According to the statement, further updates will be shared if new actions need to be taken.
