Rashford reveals lesson learnt from Ronaldo

Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford has revealed the lesson he learnt from Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Rashford played with Ronaldo during the Portuguese’s time at Manchester United.

Speaking ahead of Barcelona’s LaLiga clash with Girona on Saturday, the England international said one of the things he learnt from Ronaldo is that the 40-year-old is the player who represented his country the most.

According to him, watching Ronaldo up close taught him what it means to stay at the top of football for many years.

Cristiano is the player who represented his country the most. I was lucky to play with him.

“Watching him up close taught me what it means to stay at the top for so many years,” Rashford told ITV.

Rashford is currently on loan at Barcelona from Manchester United.

The 27-year-old has been impressive for the Spanish LaLiga champions so far this season.
