2 YEARS GONE BY BUT THE HURTING IS STILL FRESH. – Barrister George “Bush” Ụkachukwu Amadị. KEEP ON RESTING IN “IKENGA”.
On January 5, 2025, donning Soccer Jerseys with the inscription, “In memory of Barrister George ‘Bush’ Amadị” & “Val Media”/”We4We Media” and festuring many of the players and coaches that Barr. George ‘Bush’ Amadị helped raise, the Ụmụezereọkam Nekede Soccer team won the 2025 VERSION OF the Unity Cup. I am very sure you smiled down at them as they played their hearts out to win. Big Congratulations to them. Good Job, Rev Onyemauche Ọfọegbu, the Coaching Staff & the players.
It’s been 2 years since you left us but your memories, the works of your hands, the world of your body and of your mind still resonate among the living.
You were super intelligent, strategic, loving, caring, and an embodiment of compassion and service to humanity. Under you, the We4We Foundation, the Val Amadi Foundation and all our other charitable undertakings recorded enviable strides. Our workers are still working hard mostly off of the same templates you left behind and they miss you dearly daily.
The indigent men and women in various towns cry out daily as they feel that vacuum of compassionate and strategic delivery of sound legal services that you once championed. The various Pro Bono undertakings you once gave to indigent youth who were harassed often or intimidated by some higher powers in the society and many other contributions of yours are being missed daily.
The soccer players you once trained, the various soccer tournaments you once organized miss you very much. The entities and communities you helped bring unity and progress to all miss you.
Some of the young men and women who just left secondary school and were once looking forward to your usual guidance/canceling sessions and funding assistance as they take their WAEC/GCE/NECCO and other entrance exams are still wondering where you are.
Your immediate family members are missing your sound knowledge of Omenala and the history and locations of all family properties and legacies. They’re feeling your absence a lot. They miss the love you showed them often.
Your learned colleagues in your much-cherished legal profession are missing you. They miss your intelligent approach to matters and your light-hearted moments of relief that you often brought on when the atmosphere would be a bit tensed and you all needing to relax a bit are all missing you.
As much as we would much rather have you here with us, we are consoled in the knowledge and feeling that you are in a better place as designed by the Almighty Chukwu Okike Abịama.
Continue to rest in peace. Amen.
Val “Frakas Mo’Fire” Amadị
