“We4We Media Editorial Note”

Our people,

In the strongest of terms, we continue to condemn the killing of innocent Igbo voters in Lagos by bigoted Yoruba and APC thugs being engineered by greedy “Poli-trick-ians” and political jobbers who only seek to destroy others in order to advance their political careers and/or pursuits. The level of voter suppression, intimidation and violence against the Igbos of Yorubas who the thugs adjudged to have looked Igbo, ballot box snatching and all other anti democratic tactics applied by the APC and Yoruba thugs was unprecedented a d unacceptable.

We have seen it all this past elections season in Nigeria. It’s shocking and surprising to lots of us as to the number of our people that remain silent in the face of evil. Does it mean they condone it? Does it mean they would do the same or even worse against the people if the opportunity is presented?

The truth is that we all do have very many great friends who are Yoruba and who are against the killing, harassment and intimidation of innocent Igbo voters in Lagos. To those good conscience fellows, we say “Kudos. Remain resolute and don’t be coerced into compromising your good nature”.

We4We Media platforms have been great avenues for civil exchange of ideas, education, knowledge, skills, networking and general entertainment that all help improve the overall wellbeing of our various communities. While maintaining our core values and principles on here, including the freedom to express our views and feelings, let us continue also to apply and honor the principle of *”CULTURAL RELATIVISM”* and avoid being drawn into the game of *”GENERALIZATION”* and thinking all Yorubas are bad. No. Not all Yorubas are bad.

As is the case with many other tribes, there are ‘bad individuals’ and there are ‘good individuals’. Our prayers remain that the ‘good ones’ not get drawn into the ‘bad’ activities of the ‘bad ones’ but rather help speak out against any and all forms of injustices.

The very many of some of our *”best-est”* of buddies and many relatives are Yorubas and i can beat my chest to tell you that they aren’t like these other bigotted savages killing their fellow human beings who are either Igbo or who “look” Igbo just for trying to fulfil their civic responsibility of voting for the individuals of their choice in a supposed free and fair election.

May peace reign.
