Chief Operating Officer in NNPC, Ewubare resigns

Roland Ewubare, a top official of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has resigned.

He was the Chief Operating Officer (CCO), Ventures and Business Development.

The Nation reports that his exit was not out of the ordinary.

Ewubare was said to have left on personal grounds.

The outgone official tendered his resignation letter to NNPC on Thursday.

This was after the flag-off of the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano pipeline project.

 

In June, Ewubare announced NNPC’s measures to bring down the cost of crude oil production to $10 per barrel or below.
