Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has been offered to Manchester United.
The Nigerian midfielder moved to Turkish club Beşiktaş in the summer, ending his eight-year spell at Leicester City in the Premier League and the Championship.
On his YouTube channel, Romano said that Ndidi has been offered to the Red Devils as a potential addition to strengthen their midfield during the second half of the season.
He mentioned that one player being considered by Manchester United is Wilfred Ndidi.
“One player that has been offered to Manchester United is Wilfred Ndidi,” he said.
“A former Leicester City midfielder who is now playing in Turkey is being considered as a possible signing for the January transfer window in the midfield.”
Although the Nigerian international is open and ready to return to England, Romano said Manchester United have not made an official offer for him yet.
He also said that the player is eager to come back to the Premier League.
“Manchester United know about this opportunity, but right now they haven’t made any offer or bid.
“The player is ready to sign whatever deal is needed to return to the Premier League.”
Ndidi has been a key player for his Turkish side, making 14 league starts and scoring one goal this season.
With less than two weeks left in the winter transfer window, Ndidi wants to move back to the Premier League to join a more competitive team.
