Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, is excited with the versatility of Lille striker Victor Osimhen, saying the U-17 World Cup winner can also be an option on the wings.
The 20-year-old has played mainly as a striker at both national team and club levels, posting scintillating performances and results.
The former Charleroi striker has bagged four goals in eight appearances for the Eagles.
However, it is his exploits at Lille this season that has further shot him into the limelight with the likes of Liverpool, Real, Barcelona and Spurs reportedly indicating interest in the Nigeria international.
In an interview with French website, Sud Quest, Rohr, opened up on the idea of tinkering with the Lille striker’s role.
“But I play with real wingers, Samuel, Simon or Chukwueze. Victor Oshimen can play as well as a winger.
“It’s an interesting organisation to combine with the left or right back on the wings, centre.”
