Rohr confident of victory over COVID-19

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr, has admitted that the world has a difficult match to play against coronavirus but is confident that with the right tactics, the virus can be defeated.

The Franco-German in a short video rolled out the tactics through which the COVID-19 could be defeated but cautioned that a win against the invincible opponent required that everyone must be active in play by avoiding contact.

He said, “We have a very difficult match to play and this match is against an invincible enemy.

“We have to be in solidarity and with the discipline to stay at home. We can win this match but everybody must play the game, must be without contact with other people and must stay at home and only go out when it is necessary.

“Please respect it and we will win the match together.”

The 66-year-old has just three months left on his contract and according to the Nigeria Football Federation president, Amaju Pinnick, he is expected to get a new contract on Friday (today).
