Fani-Kayode reacts to Buhari’s minister plea that EU stops migration of Nigerians

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former minister of Aviation, has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari’s government over a statement appealing to the European Union to stop the migration of Nigerians to other countries.

WE4WE REPORTS recalls that Chief Audu Ogbeh, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, on Tuesday, appealed to the European Union Mission to reduce the spate of Nigerian youths’ migration to the union’s member countries.

Ogbeh gave the appeal in an interview with newsmen at the end of a monthly meeting of Heads of Missions of European Union member countries in Abuja on Tuesday.

According to him, rather than youths going out, we want them to come back and invest in agriculture.

But reacting, Fani-Kayode, Wednesday morning, expressed disappointment over Buhari’s minister appeal to EU.

According to him, “Governments are meant to support and encourage their people and not discredit and undermine them”.

On his Twitter page, Fani-Kayode wrote: “Reduce the number of Nigerians you give visas”- FG….I have never seen a government that hates and despises its own people and treats them with as much contempt and disdain as Buhari’s.
