Buruji Kashamu: Buhari’s aide, Ahmad, Adeleke mourn ex-Ogun Senator

President Muhammadu Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, has reacted to the death of Buruji Kashamu, former Ogun East Senator.

Kashamu had died of COVID-19 complications on Saturday.

His death was confirmed by former Bayelsa East Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce via his verified Twitter handle.

Reacting, Bashir in a tweet wrote: “Senator Buruji Kashamu also, oh God! May Allah SWT forgive his shortcomings and grant him Jannah. Ameen!”

Also, former Osun West Senator, Ademola Adeleke expressed shock over the death of Kashamu.

In a tweet, Adeleke said Kashamu would be missed by a lot of people.

“Inalilahirojuna!!! The news of the death of Senator Buruji Kashamu is shocking and painful.

“Senator Kashamu is a good friend, who will be sorely missed by many people. May Allah be merciful to him and grant him Aljanah Fridaus. Adieu,” he tweeted.
