2019 AFCON: Dangote redeems $50K pledge to Super Eagles

Nigeria’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, on Wednesday, redeemed his pledge of $50,000 to the Super Eagles for their performance during the last African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The Nigeria Football Federal revealed that the money was presented to the team in Lagos by Olakunle Alake, GMD of Dangote Group, accompanied by Anthony Chiejina, Chief Corp. Communication Officer.

The Super Eagles team was represented by John Ogu, Team Admin, Enebi Achor and Kit manager, Chidi Ngoka.

Dangote made the pledge after the Super Eagles’ 1-0 victory over Tunisia for the third place at the competition.
